Not a single child left on the street. Period.

BelRefugees, Amnesty International, CIRÉ, Ligue des Familles and other organisations committed to the rights of migrants and/or children invite you to join the static and peaceful gatherings on Friday 5 December, organised across Wallonia and Brussels.

This Friday 5 December, on the eve of Saint Nicholas Day, dozens of “Not a single child left on the street. Period.” gatherings will take place in Brussels and Wallonia. There is very likely one near you. Join in !

This summer, the federal government adopted measures aimed at speeding up the processing of applications for international protection. One consequence is that certain requests are no longer accepted, forcing people – including families with children – to fend for themselves, sometimes even sleeping on the street.

You too can express your indignation by joining one of the gatherings organised across Wallonia and Brussels.

The list of these gatherings appears at the bottom of the page and is regularly updated.
